hello
when was the last time the raw water pump was rebuilt or replaced? is this boat used in saltwater? have you cleaned the heat exchanger ends? have you checked for clogged risers? usually clogged riser/manifold shows up by burning the rubber exhaust boot between the pipe and riser. and finally the oring at the bottom of the streering swivel tube. if it leaks it will suck air at planeing speed and cause heating problems. its a beast to change and most people here go to a thru hull scoop for a water intake. you outdrive has no water pump in it. in saltwater we also have some problem with the water neck at the top of the swivel tube start checking serviceing and eliminating and the problem will be cured :)
good luck and keep us posted
