Raw Water Pump Won't Pump From Stern Drive But Will From Bucket?

Not sure how to start new thread so I will type here. We just replaced the impeller in our pump and tested it and it does pump out of a bucket but will not pump from the foot...is the hose from the foot clogged? is there an impeller in the foot? lost!!!

As for your question above, we will need as much information as you can provide us about what engine and stern drive you have including the year and any serial or model numbers you may have. Also what have you tried to correct the problem thus far.
