hi I AM CURRENTLY TRYING TO RE-FIBER GLASSES MY FIRST BOAT REPAIRED SOME HOLES IN THE BOTTOM NOW THE REST LOOKS LIKE IT JUST NEEDS RE-SEALED CAN YOU USE JUST THE RESIN TO RE-SEAL IT OR SHOULD I KEEP USEING THE FIBER GLASS SHEETS TO RE-PARE ALL OF IT

Are you talking about coating the entire hull?<br /><br />It sounds like you're saying that the gel-coat has worn out. Resin won't work (especially without fiberglass) as it will just crack when the boat flexes. I don't know much in this area, but there are good products available to repair the boat if the gel-coat has worn. Fiberglass works well for spot-repairs but you should still seal IT with a product made for this purpose or a quality paint.<br /><br />Do a search of the boat in the backyard builder's area and you'll find tons of info!

thanks rick had to repaire the floor bottom small hole and had some resin left over didn't no if that woulg work or if i should just by some gelcoat to reseal 83 cajun base boat

You need to use paint not gel coat. Go to the search at the top of the page and enter "paint" in the search arguemeng & read away.
