I have a hummingbird 405sx fish finder on my boat. This came with the boat when I purshased it used, therefore, I'm not sure how old the fishfinder is. Anyway, when I turn the fishfinder on, it continually chirps no matter what. It drives me nuts, so I don't use it. I'm not mechanically or electrical knowledgable--------heeeeeelp. Thanks to all in advance

Try looking up the user manual online.

It sounds as if it is an alarm. Look for the (Menu) on page 12 first paragraph and page 19 on the alarms and settings
