re-pitched prop - decode please

I bought a used aluminum prop to "fill in" while I figure out what I should re-prop with after bending the original. The new-old prop is a 15.5 dia, 13 " pitch but has been to a shop somewhere along the trail and has the following stamped on the hub:

3 PD2

Does the PD2 mean the pitch has been lowered to 11? It is at the boat and I didn't measure the diameter (it is still sitting in the box) but, could the 3 mean the diameter has been cut to 13?

Most likely it is the prop shop number. They stamp all props that they work on.

There is no standardization of markings. Many prop shops don't mark at all. Could just be a date code for all we know. Only the prop shop that made the stamps will know what it means.

But any prop shop can set it on a pitch block to identify the pitch for you, if you need to know.
