Re-power with an E-tec 90????

I was thinking of repowering with an E-tec 90. I have no need for speed, just fishing the inner harbors. Just wanted to know if the 90 would push the 1850 CC?

I've been looking into a re-power for my Winner 1850 CC.

My local Guru (I've known him for 15 years and I trust his judgment.) told me that if I use the boat alone or with just one passenger, that 90 horse would be enough but that if I want to run around with it heavily loaded I should go with 115 horse or more.
