So Dad and I have this old Chrysler Bassrunner we bought about 10yrs ago to go fish out of. We call it Never a 2nd cause when it's time to go fishing there is never a second thought about it just go it to the truck and go. The boat is 14' narrow beam trihull that it is a front tiller steer with 3 seats down the center of the boat. It's literally so narrow you can touch both sides with your finger tips from your seat position. We threw another deck over what was there a few years back and now it's starting to show its age again.
So after redecking the Bayliner and all with plywood I would like to go Coosa or something like that in this Chrysler instead. I have some concerns about mounting the seat pedestals for the Fore & Aft seats. Will the Coosa hold lag screws like plywood or what do you do in those areas? The center will likely stay the same but just be built with a composite rather than plywood.
We've had a decent amount of fun out of it and it runs out pretty nice with the 60hp Mercury we put on about 3 years ago.
