Re-setting used hour guage. Need help before tomorrow

My boat never came with an hour guage and i just rebuilt everything so i bought a used digital one. it says quicksilver on it but i cant find the manufactorer. It has 2 wires (1) for ground and (1) to wrap around the spark plug. I would really like to reset it so i dont have to remember the starting numbers forever. If anybody know how i can reset it or ever the manu. so i can contact them. is has no buttons or anything. it is completly sealed andout 1" by 1.5". thanks

Why don't you just write it down in your manual?

Those hour meters aren't resetable.

somebody told me you can short them out to reset them. I probably will just wright it down somewhere. thanks

Quicksilver gauges are made by Mercury Marine.
