Re Upholstering the interior info needed

i recently aquired a boat from my dad the boat says Success on it and says SUCC on the title? anyone have any info on the boats in particular what company made it and the like.....

anyway onto what im really after the interior is kinda rough i already replaced the carpet but the sides have a leather type material on them as well as the seats and i was looking for a place to get the material and figured id see if you guys new any reputable places and info on how difficult/ the best way to redo the seats and such ive never done any upholstery work.

Buy an old sewing machine. Check out my thread and see how I did mine. There are several others here on the forum that Sewed theirs as well. Not to hard to do if your and Handy kind of guy.

I disagree to a point. DIY upholstery tends to looks very DIY in about 90% of the cases I've seen. Woodonglass' work is one of the notable exceptions. I've seen some real messes. It is definitely difficult work to create a reasonably professional looking end result. The side panels you could probably do yourself. I think the new seats are a bargain compared to what you'd pay to have old ones redone.
