Re: Realistically...

I have an insulated (but not heated) attached garage. When its 25 outside its still 35 or so inside. I work like that all winter. Drill holes, wax the boat, install stuff, sit in the helm seat and make putt putt sounds....LOL.

My limit is freezing. The beer stays cold all by itself and there is no wind to contend with. Last January I installed my Christmas present in January - a MinnKota trolling motor, ran wires fabricated a bracket, built a transom splash guard, etc.

Wax goes on the best the colder it is. Any final mounting or sealing that requires Perma-Tex or something like that will wait till spring and I follow the temp rquirements on the package.

Floridians don't count. When it gets below 60 y'all need winter coats. In Buffalo we don't even close the pool till the water freezes! Heck, I've been boating when there were icicles forming on my outboard's peehole!

Heck, sometimes I go out while the water is STILL frozen! (yes, that is ice in the background!)
