Greetings,
I have a 96 volvo penta engine, however it spend most of its life on bunks out of the water, and has 33 hours on the engine. i have NO issues with the engine / drive what so ever. I have just finished winterizing by adding fuel stabilizer/conditioner into tank, running engine 15-20 minutes, then changing oil + filter, then ran engine again then fogged it till it died, then pulled all plugs, wired them, essentially followed the manual. However, is it REALLY necesary to pull the drive when it only has 33 hours on it to check the bellows/gimbal/u-joints??????? the gear oil has been changed each year.....
