My 7000 lb cruiser sits on a set of 6 bunks at the rear and another 2 bunks near the frt. 3 questions.
1. Are all bunks suppose to contact the hull when loaded, because both rear center bunks do not touch the boat when loaded completely, but do guide the boat when loading and unloading..the other outer rear 4 support equally.
2. The port side rear center board is getting its carpet chewed up by the a/c and toilet inlet screens on the bottem of the boat when loading, and am going to replace just the rear center boards with the "Plastic" wood with no carpet? Sound reasonable? Should I re hang these board up higher to support weight when loaded.
3. Should the rear bunks extend right to the end of the boat or is it ok for them to be 3 - 4 inches shy? Will this eventually warp the fg hull?
Thanks.
Pete
