I have a pontoon with.a lift trailer. I'm looking for a good place to put rear tie downs on. I don't want to hook to the transom because it is just hanging by a few bolts an it already has the weight of the motor hanging on it.

Should I hook a rachet strap to the underside of the deck?
Will be kinda hard to get to but may do the job.

What do you think?

Ayuh,... Generally speaking, the Transom is the Strongest part of a boat,...
But,...
I guess you can hook it up where ever you want...

How about wrapping it with a Long strap,..??
