I am trying to figure out the price range for purchasing a 15hp Mercury outboard, 2-stroke, short shaft, manual start, somewhere between 2000 and 2003 for the year. We are trying to figure out what it would cost to replace one that was lost, so that we can be reimbursed by the organization that lost it. It looked like the one in the attached images, which is another motor purchased around the same time. If I had to guess, I would say it probably had 150-200 hours on it (it was not heavily used, but was used somewhat regularly 6 months out of the year for a couple years to coach Crew boats). It was lost about 5 years ago, so we would be reimbursed for a younger motor (as if we were buying a used replacement in 2005 rather than 2010). Weird question, I know, but any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
