I'm getting ready to reassemble the heat exchanger from my AQ131A with a new gasket and am wondering if I need to add any gasket sealer along with it or not. It's been cleaned up since I took the picture.

Can't find any info on it. Anybody know? Thanks.

I used silicon sealant on mine, just don't overdo it.

Don't know what the manual states, don't know which sealant is called for, didn't look, but one comment on silicone. Silicone is a pretty good sealer but can cause issues when used on rubber. cork and other materials prior to setting up. When applied and prior to setting up it's slippery and can cause the gasket to slip out under the two surfaces. Kind of putting something slick on the gasket which causes it to move.
