Ok... I've made a lot of progress and I have the transom, stringers and almost have the the floor completely fiberglassed in, just need to poor the foam tonight. This weekend I plan on reattaching the top to the hull. Will ge silicon from walmart work or do I need to track down some marine grade silicon for this... I will be posting pictures this weekend of the progress so far (if the better half doesn't find the last bill for misc. parts :D ... if she does I will be fiberglassed to the bottom of the hull)

If you go to the marine section ( in Sporting goods)in Walmart they have the squeeze tubes of 3m 4200 and 3m 5200. the 4200 is fast dry and 5200 is regular speed I suppose. Both are very good silicones.

I have seen them and used them for sealing screws. problem is with an 18 foot bass boat that is a lot of squeeze tubes to go around :D

Lol, you said walmart, I sure you could order the caulking tubes from a hardware store or maybe a marine supply house. Just searched right here at Iboats.com and found this 3M 5200

Good Luck
