BoatLady... I assume you're saying that the engine cranks over but has no spark? If so, do the following.<br /><br />Remove the spark plugs. Rig up some kind of spark tester whereas you can set a spark gap of 7/16". Turn the key on. Crank the engine by running a small jumper wire from the battery side of the starter solenoid to the small 3/8" nut on the solenoid to engage it (not the 3/8" ground nut though). Do you have spark?<br /><br />If no spark, disconnect the large main RED electrical plug at the engine, then crank the engine again. Do you now have spark?<br /><br />Let us know what you find and we'll go from there.
