1. Do you retard timing 2-4 degrees on the WOT end as well as idle?
2. Should all bolts/screws be loctited?
3. I installed the powerhead once then had to pull it back off and some of the powerhead mounting gasket paper material tore away from the metal core and I used a good amount of omc sealer on both sides and reused because I was in a rush. How crucial is the powerhead to midsection seal? It should be okay but it is on my mind. Should I redo it with a new gasket? Is it anything that will ruin the motor?
