I have given up on extending the shaft on my mariner to fit the boat, I will just rebuild the Force taht threw thr rod. I am shopping machine shops and I have found one that sounds reput. It is called Blackbird Industries. Has anyone had any buisnes with this shop. They use lazer and dimand honing eqpt. they fit the pistons to the block after the block has adjusted. For a drop on and go they want 1900 plus shipping with one year full warrenty, and pre broken in, and they senfd me with the proper oil I need.
