Rebuilding 200 merc first time

Hello, I'm rebuilding my 200hp mercury black max (1992) for the first time. I have some experience with cars and I'v read the seloc manuel a couple of times. The reason I'm doing a rebuild is #2 and #4 cylinders got scored. So I was wondering if you people had some advice for a rookie.

Make sure your work space is impeccably clean.Know that the people doing your machine work are up to the task.When it comes time to seal that case,NO DISTRACTIONS.No phone calls ,no pets ,no kids ,no wife ,NO DISTRACTIONS.

Are you taking the motor down, or are you going to fix it on the boat? I am rebuilding mine, I scored #1,2,3......
