rebuilding tips and tricks

Is there an (old) thread with well organised, useful tips members of this forum have collected that you could share to help those who rebuild? If not I think its a great idea to collect these.

rebuilding what? an engine? Lots of books out there - maybe at your local library- like this one:

Oh common man, if we did that "and folks actually read it" folks like me would not have nothing much to say anymore :(
If we did that with oil threads, batteries, gas, there would be no more :popcorn: and fun would be gone

OK folks like me would still have something to say but there "might" be less times of me pull my shoe out of my mouth, that could be good :D

Ayuh,.... Rebuild What,..??

Motors, 'n drives are covered in the factory manuals,....

Hulls are well covered in the Restoration, 'n Repair Forum,.....

Maybe we could take all the rebuild threads and combine them into one long book stickie thread. Then we wouldn't need to find the manuals peeps ask for all the time because they don't want to buy them.

But that means peeps would have to start a new forum trend - Reading stickies. What a novel :)smile:) idea.
