(OMC Cobra drive)
My trim cylinders work great when it's cool out but once things hit 80+ they leak down, which drives me nuts. I went through the manual and it doesn't seem too terrible to rebuild them. I have the housing off the transom, so this is no big deal as far as removing them.
What experience have you guys had in rebuilding your own? Is it easy, or one of those "just take it to someone" activities?
Also, any suggestions as to where I could source the kit or parts?
