rebuilding volvo 250a????

a few of my rings are bad (past posts) and im now getting coolant filling 2 cylinders.

So i guess my only options are to buy a used engine or rebuild this one.

Im going to start by tearing down my engine to see if a rebuild is cost efficient for me.
I have a seloc manual. Is there anything i should know that the manual wont tell me about taking it apart well in my boat?

is it possible to strip it down a little and lift it out by hand with a few guys?

Anything is possible, did you plan on reinstalling it the same way?
Build a frame out of doubled 2X4's, pick the engine up, move the trailer out of the way. Did you pull the drive off yet?

no the engine is still together and leg is on.

i would use a truck with a lift to put rebuild back in though.

Sounds like a good way to remove the engine in the hull.

Ayuh,... You can do it any how, any way you Want....

It's just a 'ell of alot Easier with the motor mounted on a Stand in the garage....
