After burning a cylinder last season I attempted an overhaul. New rings , bearings, gaskets,...
Cylinders are giving me 60# 125# 125# 125# in that order. Most guys I have spoke to says # one just needs to seat, shouldnt be a problem.

Real problem is it turns and turns but wont fire. All plugs are firing, carb adjustments were not touched. The clip that holds the lever to the timing adjustment snapped so it was repaired as good as new (god bless JB Weld)! So timing was disrupted, but I believe it is pretty close. It will sputter when I put some fuel in the plug holes but just for a moment.
Fuel pump works fine, bowls are full!
Plugs are old but has GREAT spark. It ran on 3 before I tore it down, cant see the 60# cylinder causing a starting problem.
So many people keep telling me to dump my Force, It ran great and I am WAY to stuborn to stop now.

Please advise, season almost over!
Scott

Try to adjust your timing slightly advanced...and test. Slightly retard...and test. See if theres any difference.

I think the problem you're running into is that theres been so many things looked at and tested that you're likely missing something simple. I'm just guessing is all.

Does your choke kick in? Is the fuel fresh? Can you use a seperate fuel container with the right mix and get it to pop? Is the squeeze bulb hard when starting? Are all the vacuum hoses hooked up correctly and functioning? Is it possible you've got your spark wires hooked up wrong?

I'm just brainstorming to help you... Anyone else?

your right, so many things tried I am now running in circles..

Tried many positions of timming, also differant fuel,
thinking of checking vacume (only one line on it) and float bowl gasket, I noticed it was falling apart when I opened it, maybe a loss of vacume there. I never touched carb settings, hopeing not to.

check your plugs after you have been cranking the motor....are they getting fuel? if you have spark and fuel you should get it to fire.Check your timing ...take plugs out and ground them....have somebody crank engine with the starter, while you check timing with light.

try priming it with gas and see if it tries to crank=pull plugs out spray fuel in the cylinders and replace plugs and try to crank if yes it may be the check valve in fuel pump if not try putting ether in air box and try again if cranks have a fuel problem. Mine want crank on cold first start needs check valve but if i use ether will cold crank and then crank all day.
