rebuilt carbs now won't take gas at low rpm's

rebuilt carbs the other day everything went ok I thought now it won't take gas at low rpm's try to give it slow she stalls give it quick she stall's this is a 91 Fastrike 150 hp float levels ok,high speed jets seated no leaks that I can see where do I go from here no idea what to do???

is it starving or flooding, have someone pump the bulb at the same time the throttle is opened or push key in at the same time.

did you remove all the jets, slow, mid and high speed. clean them. did you adjust any linkage? i made a mistake the other day, and put the slow speed jet into the high speed orifice, and high in the low.

I think it's flooding because a few times as it went to stall i would push the choke in and it didn't pick=up any also the guy that did the carbs didn't replace the gasket between the throttle body and the block would this matter and I don't remember him checking or cleaning the low and med jets only what came in the carb kits which I think was the needle and seats and 1 jet and asorted gaskets does this help any also on the vapor lock recovery system if it had the wrong size needle and seat would this cause it >>>>>

he's a freind of a freind but has been doing it since he was 10 with his father marine repair shop but he's old school and usually salt water boats and not hi-po outboards anyhelp would be appreciated thanks where would you start to look for this problem

in the thread i gave you. does not mean he did not take short cuts. i have caught many taking short cuts. and wondering why they did not cure the problem.

someone on a another site told me to check the timing arm to make sure it was touching the roller and it is not but don't know how to make it do so do you know what I'm referring too /

that would be called a link n sinc, a step by step procedure, cover in the OEM service manual for your particular motor.

did a linc and sync and it seem to take care of the problem thank s for everyones help
