I have an 89 skeeter and i am looking to make a drop-in trolling motor pedal insert. i was wondering if anyone who has one could give me the measurements width, height and depth. or if anyone has a link to an after market brand that would be great. also if anyone has any comments on the recessed trolling motor pedal, comment away. thanks for any information.

Re: Recessed Pedal?

Hey JC -- Greetings from Owatonna. Neat idea but I wonder if these aren't a good way to twist and ankle when you inadvertently step on the edge of it. Looks like it would put the control at a nice angle though. I've had situations, (working shorelines) where I want the control near the side of the boat, then move it to the other side working back up that same shoreline. Seems like this limits that flexibility. Granted, you can move the control but then you need to step around the recess.
