Recirc What? On 175

I have a 1995 175, purchased a year ago, thought I new all the maintenance items on this engine but was not aware of recirc valves on the oil injection. <br /><br />Would really appreciate a quick description of where they are, how to test and how often?

its not on the oil injection<br /> its on some models of the 2.6L motor. its a small steel thing with a small hose runnig to it pressed into the intake port area of each cyl. the oil injection has inline check valves. the valves dont need periodic maint but need to be tested if having problems.

Same theory of recirculating unburned fuel back to the intake.
