1985 Sea Ray SRV300 with twin 5.7L Mercruisers and Alpha 1 Outdrives.

My boat sat for two years before I bought it. Prior to starting the engines, I pulled the distributor and used an oil pump tool with my drill to circulate the oil. Then I ran the engines numerous times after that, about once a week. The boat was laid up for the season for maintenance and repair. Never made it to the ocean before I had to winterize.

The engines have been sleeping for about four months, should I pre-lube the engines again before I start them?
Thank you,
Crawdadric

Re: Recom Question

Ground the coil wire, pull out the spark plugs, and spin them over with the starter until you see some oil pressure on the gauge,-pre-lubed again.
