Looking for an honest outboard mechanic in the Detroit area. Preferably a retiree who works out of his garage. 
Someone I can trust who won't try to rake me over the coals on the money cuz I don't have much...<br /><br />I have a 1968 Evin 65 HP v4 that I lost spark on all the sudden while opened up one day. It just stopped like the switch was thrown. I figure it may be a power pack or coil. I know it needs a wireing harness.<br /><br />Before I spend $500 on parts I would like someone who knows what the heck they are doing to look at it or even do the work. I'd rather pay someone for a good diag. then to go into this blind. <br /><br />Does anyone know what prop is supposed to be on this thing?
