I have a 17' wooden boat with a layer of fiberglass on the hull and bottom. Originally finished in 1999, I painted the bottom with Interlux Fiberglass Bottomkote and everything else with Interlux Brightside Polyurethane. The topsides still look great but the bottom needs to be repainted. The boat spends most of its life in a boat lift with a couple of days a month in the water. I'm not positive that a "bottom paint" is actually the best choice. Any thoughts or recommendations? Thanks in advance. Woodnaut

Bottom paint NOT required for boats that don't LIVE in the water. I'd use a good brand of Hull paint but the Bottom paint will HAVE to be removed before applying it. I like the SuperMarine brand.
