Recommended Plug Wires?

I plan to replace the plug wires on my 1989 Mercruiser 260. (Carberated) I usually use AC Delco when available. Local auto parts store stocks them. Is this the best thing to use in a marine application?

2nd question. Is a marine thrmostat different than a standard auto thermostat? For some reason, when the shop did my repower, they put in a 175 deg. I'm in saltwater and have been told a 145 would be better. Am I correct on this? A 145 was in it before the repower.

Thanks
Mark

They'll be fine as long as the distributor end will fit on the Mercruiser Thunderbolt distributor cap.
