I have a trip coming up to Lake Powell, people are relying on my boat and I don't want any down time so I am taking care of things like trailer tires and bearings now and I want to know what you guys recommend for spare parts that can be changed out on the lake if need be on the boat itself. I have a 1988 Four Winns Horizon 200 with 5.0L 230 HP OMC Cobra. I will take spare points, rotor, cap, plugs, impeller (should I take complete impeller kit?) and spare propellers. Belts and hoses are good, no cracks or stiffness. Starter is new. How crazy do I get here? Should I bring engine water pump? Thermostat? Fuel pump? What else?

The extra impeller is not a bad idea.As is extra belts, maybe extra fuel filter and a few tools.Spare prop of course. If the boat has been maintained properly you really don't need to take a whole bunch of parts.
I always carried extra points and condensor on my Cobra.
