Yeah - I'm in Naperville, IL right now and that same storm system came through here. I got a call from my wife at about 10:30 last night - she was worried about what the hail was doing to her car. My boat was nice, safe and warm in my garage.

Ya, there's an athletic field next to one of my customer's place in Ann Arbor. The U of M girls turn it into one giant tanning bed this time of year.

I'm a baaaaad booooyyyy! :(

Skin is at a premium here in the not so great PNW. Often times when they show it, ya wonder why they bothered.

One of my pet peeves is that even in the middle of summer, there are precious few bikinis, in the boats, on the great Columbia. Actually precious few girls period. Seems like most of the boats are just full of guys.

They just opened a Hooters, here, in Portland. Methinks they will have to import their waitresses. :p

Re: Record high

We've had upper 60's all week and moore is forecast for next week. I'll enjoy N. MI weather and the cooler temps because we have relatively few bugs, and even fewer will kill ya. Yep, I'll take 80's and 90's all summer long with few worries about poisonous bugs thank you. No hurricanes, tornados are scarce, floods are few, never more than 5 miles from a body of water. Yep I see why it's called God's country. :D
