1980 90hp mercury ob factory rectifier wires all off . 3 lugs, 1 with a + symbol, 2 large red wires(from stator?), 1 small red wire, and a small brown wire. Can anyone tell me where to hook these wires to? thanks in advance

I read your post just after you posted it. And while I didn't have an answer, I did look for a schematic diagram to see if I could figure it out to answer you. I was thinking the number of Mercury iboaters we have, that one of them would know the answer and chime in. But I guess that was wrong as well. So sorry for nobody helping you. Please accept my apology anyways.
I hope you did get it wired up and working though and that you will give us another chance to help you out if you have any other boating issues. JMHO
