Red button above fuel separator?

What is this red button for and should it reset or push in? Issue is ran great 2 days ago, now won’t start. 1993 OMC 5.8 Ford 21’ ChrisCraft

Checked the battery, has fuel in tank, checked kill switch. When I get back to it will check for spark and fuel pressure. Also will change fuel filter seen in photo. Just can’t figure what the red button is for.

Reset for a circuit breaker I think.
