I have bought a 1992 482v ranger. the paint has faded pretty bad. I have a guy that says he can total sand and rebuff the paint to factory shine. The only problem is the top side(from rubber bumper up) has been sprayed with a clear coat. you can scatch it with your nail and it will peel right off. is there anything we can apply to remove this without hurting the original gel coat? and any other helpful ideas to help me restore this critter would be greatly appreciated.
