I recently bought an 89 Cobalt and its in near perfect condition but one of its very few downfalls is the teak cup holders and the teak door in the floor where you store skis need refinished. I bought a product called Nuteak wondering if anyone has had any experience using this product...any suggestions or tips would be greatly appreciated!!!

Thanks for any and all help

Re: Refinishing Teak

I have not used Nuteak but I have seen the finished wood after it was used. My bud says it is easy to use. What I saw was one year old and had been exposed to the weather for three months.

I just sand lightly and use walnut oil as a finish. The walnut oil hardens quickly and is safe for crumb crunchers to knaw on.:p

They say that little ones do not get seasick but how do you know when they drool out of both side of their scuppers all of the time?
