Considering Regal ? what about the wake

My current boat has been superb - 20? Monterey, but I can?t get another as dealer has ceased trading.
I am being ?recommended? by a dealer to get a Regal 200ES

The boat will be used for recreational level towed sports in in-shore saltwater, and often less than flat conditions.
For wake & knee boarding we need a nice crested wake (which I can achieve with a little trim adjustment on the Monterey) and for SkySki riding water messed up as little as possible.

I rode a Regal a few years back , and while the boat drove well, the wake was not good, undefined, and the aerated hull made the Vee area between the 2 wakes very messed up.

I know they have re-designed the FastTrac hull does anybody have any experience of Regal hulls & towed sports ?

Also build quality & finish ... how do Regal stack up ? ........ read a fe posts about cracked floors in the ski locker, are these a well built boat .. or aimed squarely at budget end of the market.,

The model Regal that was suggested will be no real difference from the Monterey wake. Regal build quality is very good. You may be better off
looking at a wake/ski specific model. Both Monterey and Regal make them.(2016 models)

The 'water sports' specific are too loaded with items I don't need .... Electronic Tab control, ballast system .......... too expensive, and I'm not into comp level riding
