Not sure how many Canadians on this website but i just got a boat and i was told that i have to register the numbers that are on it. I don't know where to do it or where on online. Any information about this will help me a lot.

We did our transfer of ownership with Canada Border Services Agency (Customs). After doing this you will receive a bill for taxes due in the mail

Services Canada is the agency now responsible for the registration of pleasure craft. If you google them you can find out where there local office is. I have registed a number of boats over the past 12 years and have only been hit with sales tax (Nova Scotia) once. You must have the registration of the previous owner and a bill of sale, there is no fee for the registration.
