I have a 1990 Johnson 120hp VRO. I am having some intermittent problems with the tach and read the other postings and figured this was the problem. However, I can't find the reg/rec. I can see the reg/rec assembly (4" rectangular flat thing with a couple of wires sticking out). Does anyone know if I don't have one on the engine. The manual isn't very helpful.
