rehub prop

I pulled a real bonehead move and bought a very nice prop from a guy on the internet for cheap. Only problem is the prop came off his 70 evin. 4 stroke( a point he failed to mention,) and my motor is a 1988 70hp evin. two stroke. The splines and shaft are the same size but the hub at the rear is different. Can this part be changed or is it part of the rubber hub itself and if so can it be rehubbed for my motor. It is a very nice and expensive powertech prop with no chance of returning it so I need to make it work if possible. Thanks

Total newbie here,but, when I was looking at the reconditioned props the ones that were rehubbed stated that they had to be kept above a certain temperature for 24hrs before going into cold water.
