rehub stainless prop ?

Before my 50 hp evinrude blew up i bought <br />a used stainless prop for it.<br />i would like to use it on my new Honda BF50<br />but was told the prop shaft has different<br />splines and would not accept the OMC prop.<br /><br />Can that prop be re worked so it fits <br />the honda shaft ?<br /><br />

I believe a prop shop could do that for you.

Most won't do it if they don't have the hub to convert it already....<br />The hub housing is rarely the same size, BUT, if your Honda is a 13 spline, in the same size shaft, the OMC hub will work if you use the proper thrust and aft washers, which is trial and error.......
