1st Project: Replace one of the 302 engines.

Some background, two weekends after I got the boat, I blew a rod in one of the engines!! WOT for 5 hours on questionable engines...go figure.

Anyways, after about 4 weeks the engine was rebuilt and reinstalled! here is a link to the video. there are 4 videos showing the engines getting installed

I got the new engine from Rapidomarine. Engine looked brand new, even though it was a 77 302. Shipping was really fast as well, one shipping piece of info, the 100 bucks shipping is only for delivery to a local shipping warehouse, its $150 bucks for door delivery.

Installing new Lewmar V700 anchor windlass and removing the old one

Well this project got a bit more complicated! I decided that I wanted to increase the length of fall of the rode from the deck into the locker but as with most small v berths, there wasnt that much space, so I ended up modifying the v berth. Pictures are coming but the job got to be much bigger than originally planned!
