Reinstalling head on an Opti

I reinstalled the head on my 2006 Optimax 175 and as I do more research I realize that I didn’t put oil on the head bolts, I just cleaned them and I used the old bolt. They are torque to yield. Will this cause me any problems down the road? Should I take everything apart and do it again a different way? Is their a way to check the bolts even though they are torque to yield? Always a little nervous after pulling off a head, especially on my boat. Any insight would be helpful

Torque to yield bolts need to be replaced every time. They are a consumable item, and will not hold the correct torque when reused . I am assuming you have the correct sequence and a torque angle gauge to tighten them?

I have all the correct tools. I just think I need to take it all apart and redo it with the new bolts. Do you recommend using a little motor oil on the bolts when you reinstall them?

I've gotten away with reusing, but replacing with new bolts with give major peace of mind.
