Its a 1973 and was told by the guy that gave it to me it had no compression in one cylinder. The motor's at the shop to find out what is wrong with it and was quoted $1,000 to put a new piston or two in it--If that's what it calls for. If one to do a rebuild on their own what kind of price tag does that carry? Also how difficult is it for a 2 stroke rookie? Give me a 351 cleveland and I can build it...but this small, confusing stuff scares the crap out of me!! I've got the manual but not sure how much confidence I put in it after reading "be careful to not drop the L/U" because it was unbolted and it should "Easily come off." However, I digress......
