Remote Control Friction Brake Adjustment

I have a 06 Four Winns with a Volvo Penta 5.7L Duo Prop. It has a Volvo Penta side mount control. I pulled off the center round cover, but did not see any adjustment screws. Does anybody have any other directions?

What's your problem, other than you can't find any adjustment screws.

I dont have a picture. I want to loosen it up a little. The wife is complaining it's too tight.
