Hi... I am new to powerboating and have a boat with a 2004 DF140 with just under 200 hours on it. Local shop tells me the boats fuel tank (along with some other items) needs serious attention and it's not worth it to me to provide it, so I'm mounting a remote plastic tank in the back of the boat to get me through the summer, then I'll give her a new home. My question is, will I need some kind of fuel pump to get the gas to the motor from the tank? It will be located higher than the under-floor existing tank and much closer to the motor. Thanks!
