Remote outboard motor Throttle Linkage

Looking at the pic I know I attached you'll see the (tip) of the linkage at the motor has been broken off. Yeh I did it, and I'm darn proud it happen in my driveway rather out in the lake.

This linkage is for a 1963 18 hp Johnson outboard motor. My middle name is "mickey mouse" with not such bad results.

I still have the 1/4" piece that broke off, and am wondering can (JB weld) be a possible solution? Or can the whole tip be unscrewed as well as me and be replaced?

That's simply the throttle cable guide, a replaceable part. Loosen the set screws, remove the guide, see your local dealer for another one.

Ask your dealer for part number 377850, replaced by 385956
