Are the old 80's model chrome spot lights (Perko?) worth restoring? This one is pitted pretty good and has a couple broken plastic parts inside.
Are parts even available?

Re: remote spot light

I have the same question! My spot light hasn't worked since I bought my boat. Even the remote looks all worn out. I think I have some pics of mine If I get it I'll put it up.

Yes, I believe it's the same. I wish someone would let us know if parts are available. I email the nfg, but all I got was, the UK distributor and a link for the bulb....Also, Any ideas what to do with the pitting problem? sand down, fill re-chrome? Paint?

From the way it looks the only way to get to the bottom of it is by taking the light apart and trying to fix it. If not then we have to buy a new one. I doubt we can buy the parts I tried looking but with no success. Down side is those things are expensive as hell!
