I want to check compression on my motor to get a baseline for future knowledge in case I need to check in the future while troubleshooting. I have a two wire push button setup I used to use on cars so I could bump a motor from under the hood without the key. One wire hooks up to battery side (6 guage starter wire) of solenoid and the other hooks up to one of the two small wires coming to the solenoid. I do not remember which one to hook up to open the solenoid and allow the motor to crank. I fear if I choose the wrong one I will cause a short and burn up some electronics. Soo can anyone tell me which wire or how to determine which wire. Thanks.
